Guiding & Scouting in Congleton

Guiding and Scouting are both very active in Congleton, with 5 different Scout groups each offering Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and a district Explorer group.  There are 2 guiding Districts each with several different Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Young Leader or Ranger opportunities in different parts of the town.

Local Scout Groups are:

  • Dane Valley Scout Group – meeting at Rope Walk, Congleton
  • 1st Congleton Scout Group – meeting at Worral Street, Congleton
  • 1st Mossley Scout Group – meeting at Leek Road, Mossley
  • 1st Buglawton Scout Group – meeting at St. John’s Road, Buglawton Scout HQ
  • 6th Congleton Scout Group – meeting at Black Firs Primary School, Longdown Road, Congleton
